Where It All Began
Our journey began in 2005, working as skilled joiners and creating bespoke timber products and handcrafted furniture tailored to our customers’ individual requirements.
Expanding into Timber Supply
We identified a gap in the market for a truly accessible, nationwide timber supply service, particularly for customers looking to buy timber online. From the outset, we believed that no job should be too big or too small. Whether supplying a single timber blank for a small project or sourcing material for a complete boat restoration, we focused on providing a flexible, personal service tailored to each customer’s individual requirements.
Wilson Hardwoods Is Born
As demand for our timber continued to grow, it became clear that timber supply had developed into a business of its own. In 2026, we made the decision to separate our furniture and timber operations, and Wilson Hardwoods was born. Building on more than two decades of experience working with timber, Wilson Hardwoods was created to offer customers across the UK quality hardwoods, flexible sizing and the same personal service that has been at the heart of our business from the very beginning.
